Ambassador Marina Jovićević, within the framework of getting acquainted with the competent authorities of Kingdom of Belgium, met with the Minister-President of Flanders, Mr. Geert Bourgeois. At the meeting, there was discussed further cooperation, especially economic, since there are a large number of companies in Flanders operating in Serbia and there is an interest in increasing trade. It was announced that from 19-23 March, the visit to Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia will take place, organized by Flanders Investment & Trade. Among other topics, it was also discussed the support of Serbia on the road to EU integration, the challenges on that road, and regional and European stability.

Ambassador Marina Jovicevic conveyed a call to the Prime Minister of Flanders, G. Bourgeois to visit Serbia.
