29/12/2017 Women's national team of the Basketball Association of Belgrade won the International Basketball Tournament in Kortrijk

The international basketball tournament was held in the Belgian city of Kortrijk from 27 to 29 December 2017 with the participation of the women's and men's selection of the Basketball Association of Belgrade.

The head of the delegation was Nenad Pujaz, a member of the presidency of the Basketball Association of Belgrade. Women's selection under 17 years won the first place and men’s selection under 19 years the ninth (out of 20).

The final match with the Belgian team DB Waregem was attended by Minister Irena Banovčanin, who handed the gold medals and trophy to the winners of the Tournament.

In the half-time of the final match, the organizers handed the mascot of the Tournament to brother of Dejan Dimitrijevic, the former president of the Basketball Association of Belgrade, who died in July 2017 and with whom they had long and successful cooperation.
