23/03 /2016 NEW INFORMATION ON ATTACKS AND SECURITY MEASURES IN BRUSSELS

The day after the terrorist attacks in Brussels, the highest 4th level of alert against terrorist attacks remains, on the whole territory of Belgium.

Zaventem Airport is still closed and passengers are forwarded to alternatives ones.

Public traffic slowly start to operate, and schools also work.

In Belgium, declared three days of mourning.

According to the announcement of the 4th degree, Embassy maintains recommendations to avoid large concentrations of people in the city (concerts, big events, railway stations and airports, public transport and shopping centers) and the respect of official statements of the authorities, and ask for vigilance in order to improve safety for the entire community.

We ask our citizens who are in Belgium, if they have any problems that could Embassy help to address by phones written on this site.
