On Friday 19th September and Saturday 20th September, a 54th anniversary of the Free Municipality of Ilot Sacre took place. The Embassy, as it was the case in the previous years participated at the event.

The Free Municipality of Ilot Sacre and the Belgrade Skadarlija established a formal cooperation in 1984. This cooperation was re-activated in 2011 at the iniciative of the Embassy, its economic counsellor and the National Tourism Organisation of Serbia on the occassion of the Salon des vacances/Vakantiesalon in Brussels of which Serbia was a host country, and the official visit of the delegation of the City of Brussels, Free Municipality of Ilot Sacre to Belgrade from 19th to 22nd April 2012.
