2 September 2021 - Meeting of Ambassador Marina Jovićević with the Speaker of the Luxembourg Parliament, H.E. Mr. Fernand Etgen

Ambassador Marina Jovićević met with the Speaker of the Luxembourg Parliament, H.E. Mr. Fernand Etgen on September 2nd.


In the conversation it was discussed the situation regarding the Covid-19 pandemic, including the vaccination process. Ambassador Jovićević informed about the status of play in EU accession negotiations, the reform process that Serbia is undergoing in the context of the accession process, progress in regional cooperation, especially related to the "Open Balkans" initiative. The situation in the Balkan region and current foreign policy developments and challenges were also discussed.


Mr. Etgen and ambassador Jovicevic also discussed about the progress in bilateral relations of Serbia and Luxembourg in the previous two years, as well as the next steps in order to strengthen the bilateral cooperation between Serbia and Luxembourg that was assessed as very good.
