20/02/2018 Ceremony of homage to King Albert I and the deceased members of the Belgian Royal Family in Liège

The official commemorative ceremony in honor of King Albert I and the deceased members of the Belgian Royal Family was organized by the City of Liège and the association “Roi Albert Ier”. The ceremony took place at the Esplanade du Roi Albert Ier in Liège. The consul Ana Kosovac was the representative of the Serbian Embassy and laid garland at the monument of King Albert I. The ceremony was attended, also by representatives of USA, Germany, France, Italy, Great Britain and Romania.

After laying a garlands, the anthems of the European Union and Belgium were officially played, and the children from the local kindergarten and school sing the song dedicated to King Albert I.
