APEC (Antwerp Port Training Center) organizes seminars and training in the field of port management, logistics and other aspects of the maritime sector for forty years already, by transferring the expertise of professionals from Port Antwerp, by providing a platform for discussion, learning from examples of best practices and for networking of professionals from all around the world.

APEC offers a fixed set of standardized courses, both for managers and for dock workers of different levels of knowledge and experience. APEC also provides specially tailored seminars and training upon the request of contracting authorities from the port sector.

APEC provides scholarships for courses, accomodation and travel expenses for the best candidates. Due to the extremely high interest in courses in English, the greater chances for obtaining scholarships have francophone participants.

During November 2016 (7-18). Seminar on port management and logistics, from Serbia, has successfully attended and finished Ms. Mirela Andric from Belgrade, working in a French company for navigation on the Danube (CFND). The ceremony of awarding of diploma, as in previous years, has been attended by a representative of the Embassy of Serbia in Brussels.
