Based on the agreements that regulate the use of health care during a temporary stay in the other Contracting countries has been determined, inter alia, that the confirmation of the right to use this kind of protection can be extremely subsequently issued at the request of the foreign insurance carrier, unless issued before going on a trip.

This procedure assumes that foreign hospitals that received our insured notify the insurer in the place of residence, who sends a request for the submission of the required form. Along with the application, the insurer shall submit a medical report, notice of the expected period of treatment and others. However, increasingly the procedure for paying the costs of treatment are not implemented in the way agreed and foreign hospitals directly, via fax or email, informing the Republic Health Insurance Fund, or diplomatic or consular mission that is our Insured admitted to hospital and request the issuance of certificates.

In the occasion that a foreign hospital directly addresses the diplomatic or consular mission will be sent directly to the address of the holder of the insurance temporary place of residence, which should be addressed by the Republic Health Insurance Fund, established in bilingual form, in order to implement the agreed procedure.
