Organized by a group of Serbian citizens residing in Belgium and supported by the Embassy or Serbia in Belgium and Alden Biesen Zomeropera festival, the Humanitarian concert “For Serbia, with heart” was performed on Monday, 02 June 2014 in Brussels. The purpose of this event is raising donations for the Serbian citizens affected by the recent floods.

Esteemed Serbian pianist Milica Ilić has gathered acclaimed artists from seven countries performing classical arias of Gounod, Verdi, Weber, Weil, Mozart, Lehar and others. The performers were as follows: Julia Rodriguez (soprano, Spain), Sarah McCourt (soprano, Ireland), Mariana Castello-Branco (soprano, Portugal), Helene Bracke (mezzo-soprano, Belgium), Christian Lujan (baritone, Columbia), Denzil Deleare (tenor, Belgium), Mirei Arai (piano, Japan) i Milica Ilić (piano, Serbia).

In addition to this event, we are organising another concert in Ghent, scheduled for 09 June 2014 and supported by the International Opera Academy of Ghent.
