In only a few hours, employees of the European Investment Bank collected significant amount for helping the population affected by floods in Serbia. The collection of the money continued yesterday and today. The money will be transfered to the special account of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in the Kingdom of Belgium and the Great Duchy of Luxembourg openned for this purpose.

Vice President of the European Investment Bank, Dario Scannapieco, during a meeting with the Ambassador Vesna Arsić and economic counsellor Srdjan Cvijic, said that this initative demonstrates not only institutional determination of EIB to help Serbia in its European integrations path but also personal dedication of the employees to the job that they are doing. The initative for the collection of aid came from Annabelle Assemat and several other employees of EIB.

The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia, on behalf of all citizens, thanks the employees of EIB on the expressed solidarity and fullhearted support in this tragic moment.
