With the first intergovernmental conference held in Brussels on January 21th 2014, Republic of Serbia has formally started negotiations on its full membership to the European Union. Serbia's goal is to open during this year at least four chapters, to conclude the negotiations by 2018, and to be admitted in the European family by the year 2020.
