The 2014 Special Olympics European Games will be held from 13 - 20 September 2014 in Antwerp. More than 2,000 athletes from 58 countries are expected to compete in 11 sports including 47 athletes from Republic of Serbia who will compete in: athletics, swimming, basketball, bowling, football and table tennis.

Ambassador Vesna Arsić and honorary consul Aleksandar Davidović held a preparatory meeting with Carin Goris, representative of organisational board of Special Olympics European Games, and Aarschot, Begijnendijk, Rotselaar i Tremelo representatives of municipality of Flemish province Brabant that will host Republic of Serbia team and their companions (68 people) in preparatory period from 9th till 13th September.
